It’s Chili Out There…

It is Fall with the leaves turning and holiday travels and eating on our minds.  To honor the “chill” in the air we are having our first SV HOG Chapter Rootin’ Tootin’ Chili Cook-off and Ride on November 15th.

The ride will begin at the SV Dealership at 9:30…not the normal 9 am.  Dan has created a 60 mile ride through the Santa Monica Mountains, down to PCH and then back through Santa Rosa Valley.  We’ll be back in time to gather at Dan and Mabyn’s home for a hot time with chili tasting.

We have 14 chefs who are cooking up their best chili.  One chef has already throne down the gauntlet with his promise of “barn burning, butt screaming chili to wreak havoc on the minds and souls of biker guys and gals!”  You can make your best guess as to who said that!

Another of our intrepid chefs lays claim to some pretty serious competition in his past and will do anything to win.  Hmmmm, this looks like it’s going to be a fight to the finish.  We need your vote in this People’s Choice Chili Contest.

If a fabulous ride and a round of chili tasting isn’t enough, we’re also serving lunch.  Bubba and Phil will be cooking up some great chili for us all and we’ll also have hot baked potatoes, salad, cornbread and dessert to make your day.  The cost is $10 for this great day. 

Please drop your check by the SV dealership if you can before the 15th.
